Praise Unlimited!

Hundreds of area youth gathered at Madison Street United Methodist Church to join together in praise and worship of the Lord. Caitlin, Toni, Jenessa, Dustin, and Josh were the youth who attended. Paula, Joseph, and Ms. Lisa also attended the worship event.
Three workshops were offered: drama, music, and liturgical dance. The workships were informative, and after the hour-long courses, the entire group gathered for worship in the sanctuary. Worship was more than moving; to some of us, it literally brought tears to our eyes. For nearly two hours, we sang and worshiped together. Praise Unlimited was a very rewarding event for all!

Mission Witness

At both services today, the youth witnessed to the congregation. The witnesses were based on the experiences that the mission team members obtained while working with Project Crossroads in Marion, Virginia. Everyone is looking forward to participating again next year!

New Web Site Coming

A new web site is being design, and it is projected to be brought up during the first week of October. The web site will incorporate a more warm and welcoming look. If you have suggestions for the new site, post them on the message board!

The youth group meets on Sunday evenings at 5:00 p.m. unless otherwise announced.
